Our guiding principles
The Institut für Sprache, Bildung und Kultur GbR (SBK) is a language and training institute specialising in teaching German as a foreign language (DaF) and German as a second language (DaZ). The institute also offers training programmes for teachers, social workers, early childhood educators and other professionals. Its aim is to provide high-quality education that supports the linguistic and social integration as well as the professional inclusion of participants in the German training and labour market.
How we work
We carry out a comprehensive error analysis, identify strengths and weaknesses and develop individual support plans from them. This approach sets us apart from other language schools — and it is only possible in small groups.

The institute is on Hermannstraße in Dortmund-Hörde and is easy to reach: about ten minutes from Dortmund main station by underground. Being close to the underground and to Hörde station makes arriving by public transport straightforward.
