Becoming independent — at work, with public offices, in daily life
B1 is the level at which a lot becomes possible: vocational training, many jobs, naturalisation. Over eight weeks you work towards expressing yourself clearly and coherently on familiar topics.
Do you want to build on your German further and gain more independence in communication? Our B1 German courses help you take your language skills to an advanced level. In this course you learn to express yourself clearly and coherently on a range of topics, to hold longer conversations and to understand more complex texts. Our experienced teachers support you with focused exercises, interactive learning methods and practical content to strengthen your command of the language.

Exam preparation
The target exam is telc Deutsch B1 or a comparable B1 exam. B1 is also a requirement for naturalisation.
Sprachcafé & culture
The Sprachcafé and the cultural programme are part of every intensive course at no extra cost. At the Sprachcafé you speak with other participants and teachers in a relaxed setting; on the excursions you experience German in real situations.

Yes. SBK is a certified telc exam centre — preparation and examination take place in the same building.
